Joy In July

Hello, today I’m participating in the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge once again.

SIP-Any-Theme-5

This week’s challenge was theme based with Christmas as the theme.  Christmas in July has become such a common catch phrase now that this seems very fitting.  I am never this early with planning my Christmas cards because the Holiday catalog has not come out yet and who knows what wonderful stamps sets will be in it.  However, I really like the simplicity of this card and may use it….we’ll see!

This is an A2 size Very Vanilla card with a non SU champagne glimmer paper.  The embossed layer is done with the new Elegant Dots embossing folder.  One of the things I am hoping to see in the Holiday catalog is another “elegant” type embossing folder.  It seems they have all retired.  I used the Stars framelits along with the Wonderful Wreath framelits for the sentiment.

The inside sentiment is from the retired Bright & Beautiful stamp set.

Thanks for checking in on my project and hope you’ll come back again.

  1. Champagne and Vanilla, yumm! I love a Christmas card in neutral tones and this one is perfect. Thanks for sharing with us at SIP Roseann!
