Hello there, this week’s Pals Color Challenge is a very appropriate one for this time of year. These colors just scream summertime. Here are the colors for this week.
I really tried to embrace a summertime feel to this card with these colors.
The Pacific Point card is a typical A2 size in which I adhered a piece of DSP from the Brights DSP Stack to the front (cut 1/8″ shorter on all sides). I ran the card front through the Big Shot using the Lots of Labels die to create the window. Then using the next largest die along with the same one I used for the window, I created a frame using Silver Foil paper. Using the small flower stamp from Something to Say stamp set in Real Red ink, I then stamped and punched out several small flowers and backed them with more flowers punched in Real Red cardstock. The punch is from the Itty Bitty Accents punch set. These were attached with dimensionals and embellished with a little bling using small Rhinestones.
The inside of the card is both the focal point and the message. This sentiment is from the Feels Good stamp set and is also stamped in Real Red ink.
As always, the envelope is given a little special treatment to complete the look. I hope you like this card and perhaps it brought a little sunshine to you.
Thanks for stopping in look at my project and please come back again soon.
