The colors in this weeks Pals Paper Arts Challenge are so autumnal. It was nice to work with them and to anticipate the upcoming Fall season even though we are in the middle of ANOTHER heat wave on the East Coast.
I naturally turned to the Vintage Leaves stamp set and coordinating Framelits for this card.
The card base is Sahara Sand. I stamped the background with the Hardwood background stamp in Sahara Sand and used the same color for the latticework. The opening for the lattice is a die from the Chalk Talk Framelits set cut out twice to make it wider. The Framelits are so inter-changeable and can be used in many different ways….more bang for the buck! Each of the Vintage Leaves are stamp in the challenge colors and cut out using the Leaflets Framelits. The sentiment is from the One Big Meaning stamp set. The leaf bouquet is tied up with a Crumb Cake stitched satin bow.
The inside of the card is simply stamped with a few leaves and matted on Cajun Craze cardstock leaving plenty of room to write a personal note.
The envelope is embellished with the same stamps on the front. However, for the inside of the envelope, I created my own DSP by stamping a piece of lightweight copy paper with the same leaves. This is a great and easy way to customize your envelopes.
Hopefully I will be seeing some colorful leaves soon, but until then I can keep stamping them!
Thanks so much for stopping by and please come back soon.

I love how this could be a fence or a gate to get inside for more pretties. Nicely done.
Love the lattice work. Beautiful card!
Rosanne, I love this card! Such a creative way to make the lattice and the leaves tied with a bow is just the right element for Fall. Thanks for sharing with the Pals.
Such a pretty thank you card. All the details inside and on the envelope will make someone feel very special.
What a beautiful card. the open lattice work was just the right touch.
