Clean & Simple Christmas

I’m playing along with two challenges today.  The Global Design Project has a color challenge and Stamp Ink Paper has a theme challenge.GDP009 Challenge      SIP-Challenge-20-CAS-Christmas

I haven’t really mastered the art of making a card that fits multiple challenges mostly because I don’t check more than one challenge site at a time.  This time however, I simply got lucky.  I originally designed this card using the color challenge and noticed that it fit the bill for a CAS Christmas card also.

I wasn’t sure how these colors would translate into a festive Christmas card but I am really happy with the retro-look of it.  It was actually very surprising to me how much I like the way this turned out.

Even the envelope was fun to make.

I will definitely be making a few more of these to send out for the holiday.   I’ve listed all the products used on this card below.

Thanks for stopping by.  I welcome your comments or would be happy to answer any questions.

Have a wonderful day,

  1. Rosanne, your card does have a lovely retro feel to it. I love that you have also dressed up the inside and the envelope too. It really makes the whole project a package deal! Thanks for playing at Global Design Project this week.

  2. Totally adorable, Rosanne! This Christmas tree is perfect with the color challenge. Such fun and bright alternative to traditional Christmas colors. Thanks so much for sharing with us at Global Design Project.

  3. Rosanne – Your adorable card definitely fits the bill for both of these challenges. I love the way you’ve cropped this sentiment with the labels framelits – fun and festive. I’m so happy you played along with this week’s Global Design Project Color Challenge. Thanks!

  4. Oh, how Iove your sweet little tree. It reminds me of a candy cane and now I crave some candy. Thank you for joining us at the Stamp Ink Paper challenge. I look forward to many more of your entries. =)
