Today I am playing along with the Paper Players #281 theme challenge, which is Cats & Dogs and also Can You Case It #106 sketch challenge.
This was really a fun combination of challenges to create a card for. I was also able to incorporate a Valentine’s Day card into it.
I used a Papertrey Ink stamp and die set called Come All Ye Faithful. I have had this set for a few years and bought it just for the dachshund and the sweaters. Here is why…..
This is our senior pup, Tess. She is almost 17 years young and always wears a “house” sweater.
I love the sentiment and thought that this would be a perfect card for Tess to give to her “Dad” for Valentine’s Day!
Thanks for looking in on my card today. I hope you have a wonderful day.
Rosanne
Oh my goodness, I just cannot tell you how sweet your little Tess is! We have had a few dachshunds in our family and they are just my favorite! Unfortunately, they’ve all gone to doggie heaven, so I will have to get my fix by looking at yours! And her little sweater is adorable, I can see why you wanted to get that PTI set! Thanks so much for playing with my Paper Players challenge this week with your adorable card!
Thanks so much LeAnne. She is a sweet little girl and Doxie’s are really a quirky breed and so much fun!
