Today I have a simple card that really took a lot of thought. This type of card is way out of my comfort zone but I really like how it turned out.
I wanted to participate in the Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge this week. But when I saw the challenge, I was totally stumped for most of the week. I just thought I would skip this week but something kept nagging me to try. Here is the challenge….and this was a CHALLENGE!
Inspiration struck when I went through my stash of random scrapbook paper that I haven’t used in a long time. There was a piece of paper with a cork bulletin board. So I made my card a bulletin board. The challenge just says cork doesn’t say it has to be real. The “memo” stamp is a random stamp I had and the little push pin and the paper clip are from a clear set that I purchased awhile ago. The sentiment on the front is from the Suite Sayings stamp set and the inside sentiment is from the Tin of Cards stamp set. The graph paper is another piece from a little 6 x 6 pad.
It’s amazing how something can come together so quickly when you get out of your own way sometimes. I am also happy to have this card on hand as I do not create many masculine cards and do need to send them from time to time.
Thanks so much for checking in today and have a wonderful rest of the weekend.
