Isn’t it amazing how the weather can have such an affect on your days. It is finally a warm, sunny day here after so many cloudy, rainy days and this has actually influenced my card today…go figure! I also had some guidance from The Challenge #72 color challenge……
Since this challenge included two of my favorite colors, blue and yellow, I jumped right in.
This color combination makes for such a cheery card. The card base is Pacific Point. The plaid panel is from Lawn Fawn’s Perfectly Plaid 6 x 6 pad. I love plaids almost as much as polka dots so I had to have this paper collection. The colors are so bright and cheerful. The thin panel is Whisper White cardstock stamped using the retiring Bordering Blooms stamp set stamped in Old Olive ink. I really like this set and feel like I didn’t use it enough so I’m trying to make up for lost time. The little flowers are punch using the also retiring Itty Bitty Accents punch and embellished with, you got it…retiring Old Olive candy dots. The sentiment, stamped in Pacific Point, is from the Tin of Cards stamp set and cut using the Tags & Labels Framelits, which happily are sticking around.
So many favorites are going away, but there are so many, many more awesome products being introduced in the new Annual Catalog! My pre-order and catalogs are due to arrive today, so besides the great weather that makes it a banner day for me.
As always, I just took some paper scraps and embellished the inside where my personal note will go. The envelope flap is also embellished with the perky plaid. I think this is such a happy way to say thank you and will put a smile on someone’s face. It sure made me smile making it!
Thanks so very much for checking in on my card today and I hope this card made you smile too!
I welcome all your comments and am always happy to answer any questions. Also, if you need a Demonstrator or more information on Stampin’ Up!, I am just an email away…rosanne@heartfeltstamping.com

Funny enough I too bought that border stamp and have never used it either!!! Didn’t quite know what to do with it but your card design is perfect for all the border patterns in that set!! Feel so lucky to get this post today!! Thank-you!!
