It’s been such a busy week here and this is the first card I’ve made this week. I am trying to play catch up and enter a few challenges before their deadlines. My card share today is for the Global Design Project #041 color challenge….
These colors make such a beautiful combination. Here’s what I came up with…
The card base is Sweet Sugarplum with a mat of Night of Navy. The DSP is from the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper collection. The flowers are from the Crazy About You stamp set and are stamped in Sweet Sugarplum. The flower was stamped four times. I punched one out using the Flower Medallion punch. For the other three, I cut out the middle layer to create a smaller flower. One of these was added to the full flower with a dimensional. I adhered all three flowers with dimensionals and then added a Night of Navy enamel dot.
The sentiment is from the Designer Tin of Cards stamp set and is stamped in Versa Mark and heat embossed with White Embossing powder.
The inside sentiment is from the Tin of Cards stamp set and is stamped in Night of Navy.
The embellished envelope completes this cheerful birthday card.
I hope you enjoyed this project and are enjoying a relaxing weekend. Thanks very much for stopping by and please check in again soon.
Take care,
Rosanne
Great card, Roseanne!!! I love the colors and the sentiment too ????
Thanks so much, Ann. I agree that these colors are a great combination but I can’t take credit for that!
