Flourish of Flowers

My card today is my entry for the Pals Paper Arts #304 sketch challenge…

PPA-304-June09

The set I used on this card, Flourishing Phrases, is quickly becoming a favorite.  I used it on this card here also.

The card base is Whisper White thick cardstock with a mat of Rich Razzleberry.  The DSP is from the Blooms & Bliss Designer Series Paper.  I stamped the flower in Rich Razzleberry, Sweet Sugarplum and Blushing Bride to give a little bit of an ombre effect.  The flowers were fussy cut and the leaves are Pear Pizzazz and cut from the coordinating Flourish Thinlits.

I wasn’t sure where to put the sentiment while still following the sketch, so I decided to just stamp it directly on the flower in Rich Razzleberry ink.

The inside is embellished with a strip of Rich Razzleberry and DSP.  I left it blank for a personal note.

The envelope flap is decorated with more DSP.  I also stamped the same flower on the front of the envelope…just a little hint of the handmade goodness inside!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope that you can find sometime this weekend to make something special.

Take care,

Rosanne
