My card for today is for the Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge…
How fun is this sketch and how many possibilities are there for it!?
Here’s what I came up with….
Warning: very minimal stamping required for this card! The Flourish Thinlits did most of the work here. This is such an awesome die set and one I know I will definitely use a lot. In fact, I’ve already used it here. The flowers are cut out in Pink Pirouette and So Saffron cardstock and the leaves in Pear Pizzazz. The enamel dots are Calypso Coral.
The card base is Smoky Slate with a mat of Pink Pirouette and Pear Pizzazz. The Whisper White layer is stamped in Smoky Slate ink using a stamp from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. The sentiment is from the Birthday Blooms stamp set.
The inside sentiment is also from the Birthday Blooms stamp set. A little strip of Pear Pizzazz and a pattern from the Subtles DSP collection finish it off nicely.
Here is there complete card. You will notice that the envelope flap isn’t completely covered in DSP. Well that’s because I am somewhat of a miser when it comes to my DSP and this was the scrap I had left but it turned out to work perfectly…a happy accident!
