Hands down….one of my favorite bundles in the new catalog is the Jar of Love stamp set and Everyday Jars framelits. So when I saw the Can You Case It #126 Favorite Die challenge, I know which die I would use. I coupled this card with The Paper Players #301 Sketch challenge.
Here is my card for the two challenges…
The card base is Whisper White thick cardstock with a mat from the Fruit Stand Designer Series Paper Pack.
The sweet little squatty jar is framed using the Lots of Labels framelits in Whisper White and Flirty Flamingo. The jar is stamped in Dapper Denim on blue vellum paper and cut using the Everyday Jars framelits. I stamped the leaves in Emerald Envy directly onto the Label using a jar mask. The flowers are stamped in Blushing Bride and Flirty Flamingo with a pearl center. A simple baker’s twine bow in Blushing Bride finishes it off.
The sentiment is from the Thoughtful Banners stamp set and is stamped in Flirty Flamingo and punched using the coordinating Duet Banner punch. I popped this up with dimensionals.
The inside sentiment is from the Layering Love stamp set and stamped in Flirty Flamingo. The little flower is actually covering up an ink smudge but don’t tell!
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a Happy Day!
Take care,
Rosanne

Hi Roseanne I saw your card on Mary Fish’s blog and bounced over here to see it closer up and I love love love it. I like everything about it. I;m confused about the vellum did you color it or buy it colored? But I will say your card is beautiful and i’m hoping to be able to case it. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Diane
Hi Diane….thanks so much for taking the time to check out my card and for your kind comment. The vellum was purchased that color. However, I did a card awhile back where I used clear vellum and sponged it using a sponge dauber and ink. I hope you try this card. The Jar of Love set is really so much fun!
