Thinking of You with Garden Impressions

Happy Monday! I hope you had an enjoyable weekend as I think summer weekends are simply the best even if there’s nothing to do.  I spent mine with my favorite little guy.  Here he is enjoying the hot tub…

I was even able to squeeze in some card making time and came up with this clean and simple thinking of you card featuring one of the new Designer Series Paper collections, Garden Impressions.

The DSP is clearly the star of the card as the large flower is even cut from a pattern in the collection.  I used a  non-SU set called Thoughtful Greetings from Pretty Pink Posh for the sentiment on both the outside and inside of the card.  I’m always on the hunt for terrific sentiment stamps and this set delivered.

And if you’re a regular follower, you already know that no card of mine is complete without some kind of inside embellishment along with an embellished envelope.

  1. Pretty, Rosanne! When I first looked at it, it looked like a new fun fold! But now I see the two sides are popped up with Dimensionals. And I love that Pink Posh sentiment set so much – guess what I’ve put in my shopping cart?!

  2. Oh, I know I am a day late, but I love this card. I am looking forward to getting the DSP and this stamp set. This is definitely a keeper for me.

  3. Love this card! is this card white popped up on white?

  4. So looking at your card how did you do that? And what does the backside look like. Have all the components and would like to make some. The card is very pretty.

  5. So pretty! How do you decorate the envelope flap like that? Thank you!

    • Thanks, Debbie. I simply glue a piece of DSP on the envelope flap and trim it. Then a take a small strip of card stock and glue it to the bottom of flap and trim.
