I’m back today with another installment of Karen Hallam’s and my monthly CASEing post. Each month, Karen and I team up to alternately CASE each other’s projects. This month it’s my turn to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit or Copy and Share Everything) Karen’s card. Here is Karen’s festive card and you can see her full post HERE.
I found so much inspiration in this card it was a bit difficult to narrow it down to exactly what I was going to copy. Using Karen’s layout, I created this fun winter shaker card.
When I realized that I hadn’t used the SU Snowman Season Bundle yet, which includes the Snowman Season stamp set and Snowman Builder punch, I thought I better get on it while it’s still snowman season. It’s also been a long time since I created a shaker card.
I used the SU Layering Circles dies to create the window. And the happy little snowman and his hat are punched using the Snowman Builder punch from a couple of patterns in the SU Let it Snow Designer Series paper collection. I used a retired SU stamp set, Snow Place, for the sentiment in the shaker. It was heat embossed with white embossing powder. The tiny snowflakes in the shaker came from the Dollar Spot at Target.
The inside sentiment is from the Snow Fun stamp set by Neat & Tangled. It was just perfect for this card! The snowflakes are from Stampin’ Up!’s Snowman Season stamp set.

Super Cute, Rosanne! Love the shaker card idea with the snowman. Now I’m going to have to CASE you back!
