Forever Fern Wedding Card

There are several co-workers who have had to either postpone or cancel their wedding plans this spring.  I can only imagine how disappointing this is considering all the planning and anticipation that goes into a wedding.  Since we’ve been away from school since March, we could not celebrate with them either.  So in lieu of the usual bridal shower we would have had, we are sending our good wishes through the mail in the form of a “card shower”.  Everyone is putting their cards in the mail on the same day in the hopes that they all arrive within a few days of each other.  The idea is to surprise the bride to be each day with a mailbox full of wedding wishes the week before her ceremony.

I used the Forever Fern bundle along with the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder to create a soft and elegant card.

Adding to the softness is the Whisper White, Silver Foil and Soft Sea Foam color scheme.  I stamped a variety of ferns in Pear Pizzazz and Soft Sea Foam ink and die cut them using the Forever Flourishing dies. I also added a couple of ferns die cut in vellum.  The Parisian Flourish embossing folder gave the card such pretty texture.  Enhancing the elegance is the heat embossed sentiment and row of rhinestones.

The inside sentiment is from the Forever Blossoms stamp set and is stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink.

Dry embossing the envelope flap was a quick and easy way to create an equally elegant envelope.

I’m a little obsessed with the Forever Fern Suite of products at the moment and have to remind myself to use some of the other products I purchased from the new Annual Catalog.  This bundle is the ultimate in versatility and could be used for almost every occasion.  It would also pair so well with many other stamp sets.  I had no problem creating a few more projects with this bundle and three of those are my exclusive FREE tutorials for the month of June.
