A Summer Sunflower Hello

Popping in today to share another card made with the Celebrate Sunflowers stamps and coordinating Sunflower dies.  This is one of my favorite bundles in the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog.  There’s just something so happy about these big, bright blooms!

I’ve been trying to be more purposeful when creating projects.  I enjoy stamping so much more when I know I have a receipent for the card I’m creating and not just making one to post.  So one of the silver linings of our current “situation” for me is that I’m sending many more Thinking of You cards as a way to stay in touch with family and friends I’m unable to see right now.

I’ve partnered the small sunflower image with a sentiment from Good Morning, Magnolia stamp set for a cheerful HELLO!  The Dainty Diamonds embossing folder adds pretty texture and the plaid pattern from the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper collection (available in the August-December Mini Catalog) gives that sweet country charm.

A small sunflower and DSP strip are pretty embellishments to the inside of the card. The sentiment is also from the Good Morning, Magnolia stamp set.

I’ve had such fun stamping and coloring these sunflowers and have quite a collection ready to go on a few more projects.  This is one set that I’ll be creating with throughout the rest of the summer and well into the Fall!  I’ve also created an exclusive tutorial package featuring this bundle…
