CASEing Coast to Coast: Thankful for Harvest Hellos

Stampin Up Harvest Hellos Fall Card-Rosanne Mulhern stampinup

Welcome to another edition of CASEing (Copy and Selectively Edit) Coast to Coast with Karen Hallam at Karen’s Stamping Habit.  Each month, Karen, who lives in CA and I, from PA,  take a turn at  CASEing each other’s project.  This month it was my turn to create a card to inspire Karen. You can see Karen’s card HERE.

For my card today, I pulled out a seasonal favorite, Harvest Hellos.

Details

  • Glue the DSP panel to the Crumb Cake card stock and adhered both to the Very Vanilla card base.  NOTE: I used a piece of white fun foam cut a little smaller than the Crumb Cake panel.  To cover a large area, I find the fun foam gives an even dimension.  Smaller dimensionals sometimes look bumpy and to cover the whole card front, you need a lot of them.
  • I stamped each pumpkin on Very Vanilla card stock with Crumb Cake ink. Then I lightly sponged them with: Pumpkin Pie, Soft Sea Foam and Crumb Cake ink.
  • I punched them using the Apple Builder punch.

  • The leaves are stamped on Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive card stock with Old Olive ink and hand cut.  The stem is punched with the Apple Builder Punch.
  • I created the swirly stems with some floral wire I had on hand.
  • The pumpkins are popped with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The larger leaves are cut from Old Olive card stock using the Gathered Leaves dies and tucked in between the pumpkins.
  • The sentiment is from the Country Home stamp set and is stamped in black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  I hand cut the sentiment along with a black mat.  This is also adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Lastly, I added a few clear epoxy droplets.

  • I used another sentiment from the Country Home stamp set for the inside.
  • Strips of DSP, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake card stock embellish the inside as well as the Very Vanilla envelope.
