Hello, welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop! This month our Design Team’s theme is “Pile It On” – showcasing their card/project with layers of DSP and/or embellishments for any occasion. We hope you enjoy and will be inspired by them! Don’t forget to leave comments! We love hearing from you. At the end of my post, you will find the full line-up to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I’ve decided that the Poinsettia Petals bundle is my absolute favorite from the August-December 2020 catalog. I’ve been creating with it non-stop over the past week and still have many more ideas. One reason is that I love winter flowers like Poinsettias, Amaryllis, Christmas cactus and Paperwhites. When it comes to Poinsettias, I’m drawn to the lighter colored rather than the traditional reds. My pink-toned paper poinsettias on this card are a testament to that.
The poinsettias and berry sprigs were cut from shimmery white paper. I lightly sponged the poinsettias with Petal Pink ink. The leaves are cut from Soft Sea Foam card stock.
For the flower centers, I cut a die from the Poinsettia dies and added rhinestones . This really added to the richness of the card. I’ll be adding these to other poinsettias I create.
I combined two sentiment stamps from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set to create the inside sentiment.

WOW! Gorgeous card (as always)!!! Love your color choices and I have to agree with you…the Poinsettia Bundle is one of my favorites too! We do have the same taste!
Beautiful colors and inspiring Christmas card! Question: I’m seeing a lot of these slimline cards. Are you making your own envelopes to mail them??
Thank you. Yes, I made this envelope out of gray copy paper.
Absolutely beautiful! I will have to try these colors.
Fabulous card Rosanne!!!
Lovely soft colors, Rosanne! And your layering is perfection. I never thought to put rhinestones in the center of that die – genius! I’m going to do that on my next poinsettia card! TFS!
Beautiful work here! Always a pleasure to see how others put their own stamp on life!

Just wondering what color CS you used to cut the Ornate rectangle for front of the card. Not sure that was mentioned in your descriptions and measurements. If I missed it I am sorry!
I love this card and want to CASE it with things I have like what you’ve used.
Thanks for sharing your beautiful creativity!
Nancy, I used a non-SU silver card stock that I purchased at Michaels. I think any kind of metallic would look good. You could also use an embossing folder on a piece of gray card stock for a bit of texture.
Holy cow, I think I’ve found my favorite Christmas card of all time. Those colors are incredible! Thank you for sharing your talent.
Oh my goodness, Kathy…thank you!
