I love big, bold and beautiful flowers. And my card today features the big, bold and VERY beautiful Delicate Dahlias stamp set from Stampin’ Up!
Although this is a two-step stamp set, I chose to stamp and color these flowers. Before coloring, I stamped the flowers with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed them with black embossing powder. This actually makes it much easier to color and blend within the lines.
The die cut sentiment is from Neat & Tangled.
The inside sentiment is from the recently retired Stampin’ Up! stamp set, Happy Thoughts.
Take care,
Rosanne
Super pretty, Rosanne! I love your color choices!
Thank you, Karen!
Absolutely stunning!! I love your card!
Thanks very much, Deba!
I love the boldness of your colors and the way you’ve used the embossing powder.
Thanks very much, Deb!
Stunning colouring. Did you use SU colours or Copics? Which colours please?
Thanks, Diane! I used Copic markers and I’m not sure which colors exactly. SU colors would translate to Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie.
This is beautiful! What colors did you use?
Thanks, Shelly! I used Copic markers in shades of red, yellow and orange. SU colors would be Real Red, Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie.
Such a striking card, love your choice of colors, truly beautiful
Thank you, Maria!
