Today I’m sharing a card that includes one on of my favorite techniques: heat resist embossing. I created this pretty pumpkin background by randomly stamping the pumpkin image from Stampin’ Up!’s Pretty Pumpkin stamp set with Versa Mark ink and heat embossing it with white embossing powder. Then easily sponging Pumpkin Pie ink onto each pumpkin. The stem was inked with Old Olive ink.
I matted the stamped panel on a piece of gold foil before mounting it on the card base. The sentiment is embossed with gold embossing powder. I added a pretty gold border to the bottom of the sentiment panel using a die from the Painted Labels dies.
The inside is simply stamped with a sentiment from the Pretty Pumpkins stamp set.
I created a coordinating envelope using the same heat resist embossing technique on the flap.
As always, thank you for stopping by today!
Take care,
Rosanne
