I’m back today sharing another favorite technique…paper piecing. I’m always on the look out for dies that would work well with this technique. I’ve recently discovered a new to me stamp company…Jaded Blossoms. The die is called Fancy Pumpkins and works perfectly for this technique.
I’m playing along with the Tic Tac Toe Challenge here…
I chose to follow the 3rd row down: Embossing, Patterned Paper, Fall/Halloween Theme
I used Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Mossy Meadow and Old Olive card stock along with a plaid pattern from my stash to create the pumpkin. The pumpkin is adhered to a panel that’s embossed with the SU Dainty Diamonds embossing folder.
The sentiment comes from the retired SU Country Home stamp set. I stamped it and heat embossed. I used the Brother Scan n Cut to cut the sentiment and the black mat out.
The inside sentiment is from the My Favorite Things Harvest Mouse stamp set.
I was having such a good time creating this card and couldn’t stop at just one. Here’s another…
I think I like both cards equally well. Leave a comment choosing the card you prefer and I’ll choose a random comment to send that card to.
Thanks for stopping by.
Take care,
Rosanne
Rosanne, these are beautiful pumpkin cards. I love the plaid piecing and the pretty inside design with the sweet sentiment. Enjoy your day!
I like both but I prefer the one on the right, in shades of orange.
Cute idea
I love them both for different reasons! The black and orange one would also be perfect for a Halloween themed card. The stitching on the pumpkins really adds depth and texture to them. I also love how simple and clean they are.
Really beautiful cards Rosanne!
I fell in love with this card… thanks for sharing so much
I’m completely in love with that pumpkin die!
I like the second one best. They are both pretty.
Love both. So fun.
OMG! Rosanne, this is one adorable paper pieced pumpkin. I love the plaid color combo perfect autumn colors. Than you so much for playing along with us at TTTC.
