Cup(s) of Thanks

I spent a cold yet delightful morning creating a thank you card for a dear friend.  I still had Clearly Besotted’s, My Cup of Tea stamp set on my desk from a card I created last week.  I only used a sentiment then, so I decided I needed to ink up the cute little tea cups.  I stamped each one in Versa Mark on colored cardstock and heat embossed them with white embossing powder.  Since I don’t have a die for these cups, I needed to cut them the old-fashioned way…with scissors!

To create the subtle background, I used the Slimline Basket Petals stencil from Picket Fences and Shabby Shutters Distressed Oxide ink.

I’m playing along with Linda’s sketch at  Freshly Made Sketches 521

And at Just Us Girls Word Week #618

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend.

Take care,

Rosanne
