It’s a cold, damp day here and the perfect day for a hot cup of tea. So as my card implies, it’s Tea Time! This darling stamp and die set is called Tea for Two (Papertrey Ink). Again, this is another set that’s been sitting on a shelf far too long and it was perfect for the Retro Rubber Challenge #176.
I took a few liberties with this sketch. I flipped the sketch to vertical and my sentiment is included on the middle image.
I hope you have a wonderful day and can find some time to relax with a nice cup of tea.
Take care,
Rosanne
Rosanne, this is such a cute card, and that envelope is really fantastic too! I love the idea of sending a card that’s pretty even when it’s just sitting in the mailbox. The background white, plaid paper are so pretty and the dark paper and ink really make it pop. You’ve inspired me today! 🙂
Hi Rosanne, I like your card, I’m just going to have a cuppa myself. What is the size of your card please? Are all the challenge sketches the same size every time? Cheers and thankyou, Marilyn.
Cute card love the colors and how you reversed the sketch. Thank you for playing along with Retro Rubber Challenge Blog.
So very pretty, Roseanne, I love all things tea, myself, lol. What great paper choices! And a perfect tea sentiment besides! Thanks so much for playing at Retro Rubber!
Such a clever interpretation of the sketch, I love it. Your tea cups are lovely. Thank you for playing along with Retro Rubber Challenge Blog, Claire DT
