Welcome Baby!

Hello again!  Have I mentioned how much inspiration I get from participating in challenges?  I know that I have (on several occasions).  Well today is no exception.  The Fusion Challenge this week was just what I need to create a couple of sweet baby cards.  Take a look at the challenge board…

I decided to play with both the sketch and the photo today.  Here’s the card I came up with…

The pretty patterned paper I used is from Lawn Fawn’s Flower Market 6 x 6 paper pack.  I really like how the petite floral and thin stripes coordinate so well.  Again, I’m using some retired SU stamped images here. The cute rabbit is from Fabled Friends.  I created his little gingham coat by paper piecing.  The black buttons are tiny pearls colored black. The sentiment, from the Well Said stamp set, is heat embossed.

As what happens often, I wonder how the card would look in a different color.  Since the card above would clearly be for a baby boy, I created another in a more gender neutral color.

As always, thanks for taking a look at my cards.  I truly appreciate it.

Take care,

Rosanne
