Today I’m sharing a cheerful Get Well card featuring an older Papertrey Ink stamp and die set, Tea for Two. As an avid fan of all things tea related, I’m revisiting this set and can see so much potential for more projects. I’m hoping this card will be as comforting as a hot cup of tea!
This is a mini slimline (my favorite) card measuring 6″ x 3 1/2″. I’ve recently become a little more selective on the products that I purchase and I’m striving to use more of what I’ve already purchased. So I decided to only purchase SU’s Tea Boutique DSP, which I used for the floral background. The tea cups and teapot are stamped with SU’s Crushed Curry, Real Red and Mossy Meadow inks. I had some retired Crushed Curry Baker’s Twine to string the tea cups. The sentiment is also from the Tea for Two stamp set.
I used a really old sentiment from CTMH on the inside. Besides the heartfelt wish of this sentiment, I absolutely love the font!
I’m playing along with the Tic Tac Toe #167 Challenge here...
I chose the third column down: Scallops, Twine, Patterned Paper

Thanks for stopping by on this last day of June. Have a wonderful day!
Take care,
Rosanne
Love your card and I’m doing the same thing lately. Kind of fun and a challenge to make new cards with things you already have. What do the letters stand for, company name for the inside sentiment? Would love to find that one!
Thanks, Sherri! CTMH is Close to My Heart Stamp Company. They are very much like Stampin’ Up and you have to purchase from a demo. I purchased this used from a Facebook site a few years ago. I’m not even sure of the name of the set or if it’s still available but perhaps you could look around online.
Rosanne, this is beautiful…great take on the TTTC and the sketch!
I love the traditional feel of your mini slimline Rosanne – the colours of your tea set and florals remind me of a classic English Rose design by Royal Worcester. Thanks for playing along with my sketch challenge over at The Paper Players this week!
This is adorable! I love the sweet country feel to it…the papers and teacups are sure to make someone feel better and the sentiment inside will too! Thanks for playing with our sketch this week at the Players!
I love this card – it reminds me of and olde worlde English tea shoppe – so warm and cozy and inviting. Perfect for your sentiment.
So glad you joined us a The Paper Players this week
