Totally Digging You!

Hello!  I hope you’re enjoying the second official day of summer.  I absolutely love summer!  It wasn’t always my favorite season.  It quickly became the favorite when I started working in a school…for understandable reasons.  Well, I’ve retired from the school library this spring, so perhaps another season will now become the favorite…we’ll see.

Today’s card share is another fun, mini slimline that I created for my grandsons.  Even though they’re pretty young (5 & 1 yrs.), and I get to see them on a regular basis, I enjoy popping cards in the mail to them.

Again, this is a mini slimline that measures 6 1/2″ x 3 1/2″.  The top panel measures 6 1/4 x 3 1/4 with three squares cut using SU Layering Squares Dies.  Before attaching the top panel with foam tape, I stenciled some subtle clouds to the card base behind the squares.  I created the road using Lawn Fawn’s Slimline Simple Road Border.  The cute little construction vehicles and sentiment are from Newton’s Nook, Love Quarry stamps and dies.

I’m playing along with the Tic Tac Toe #166 Challenge….

I chose the middle row across: Car/Truck, Square, Blue

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’re having an enjoyable day!

Take care,

  1. This is super cute for grandsons (of which I have a few!) One wonderful thing about your “new” blog is all the fun companies I learn about. Who ever heard of Newton’s Nook?! Thanks for the introduction. Did you see their corgi stamps (omg, cuteness overload!) Love this card, Rosanne!
