Just popping in today with a quick share of a birthday card I made for the Tic Tac Toe #170 Challenge.
I’ve mentioned before that I’m making a concerted effort to use more of the products in my stash (of which there is a lot of!). This card is a good example of just that. Everything I pulled together here are retired SU products. The white leafy border is from a Specialty Paper pack from some time ago. The butterflies are punched from retired DSP using the butterfly punch. The sentiment is from the Fancy Phrases stamp set and embossed in gold. And lastly, the sequins came from a Paper Pumpkin kit.
The inside sentiment is from the Best Years stamp set.
I can honestly say that since I changed my mindset to that of combining more of what I already have to create new projects, I’m actually having more fun. That’s certainly not to say I won’t be buying any new products (that just ridiculous, right?!). But I’ll just be a little more discretionary about what I do buy. I think you’ll see what I mean when you see tomorrow’s post.
