It’s Holly Jolly July!

We’re jumping on the Christmas in July trend for CASEing Coast to Coast this month.  If your new here, Karen Hallam out West in CA and myself, here on the East Coast in PA come together once a month to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) each other’s project.  This month it was Karen’s turn to decide our direction and she chose the theme: Christmas in July.  I don’t usually think about making a Christmas card during the summer but it was fun to pull out some holiday products. It may have actually got me in the mood to continue!

Let’s take a look at Karen’s fun card…

I love that while this is definitely a holiday card, it also gives that tropical summery vibe.  You can find all the details on Karen’s blog HERE.

Ok, so here’s my take on our theme…

I created a mini slimline gift card/check holder using Sunny Studios: Deck the Hall stamps and dies to create the cute Santa ornaments.  This is a super cute stamp set and was really easy and a lot of fun to color.

To create the slimline with a gift card/check pocket, I cut the card stock at 6 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and scored on the 8 1/2″ side at 3 1/2″ and 7″.  After scoring, I used double sided tape on each side of the 1 1/2″ panel to create the pocket.  The sentiment on the label is from SU Little Treats stamp set.

Thanks for stopping joining Karen and I on another cross country stamping adventure!

Take care,

Rosanne
