Trio of Birthday Butterflies

I’m back today with another pretty, feminine birthday card I created for a dear friend.

Going through my leftover bin, I came across two pieces of patterned paper that coordinated pretty well.  So I decided to use them as my starting point.  Since the floral pattern had a pretty copper detail, that pretty much determined using copper foil as a mat.  The butterfly dies are from Spellbinders Butterfly Card Creator dies.  I really like how pretty they look layered over copper.  The sentiment is from the retired SU Honey Bee stamp set and is heat embossed in copper.

I simply embellished the inside using one of the butterfly dies that I used on the front to create a pretty inlaid design.  Once I determined the card layout, this card came together pretty quickly.

I was inspired by Just Us Girls Word Week Challenge HERE

Thanks again for stopping by today…I hope your day is going well.

Take care,

Rosanne
