Country Pumpkin Autumn Card

Happy Monday!  I had a hard time trying to come up with a title for today’s post.  Honestly, I find trying to figure out blog titles the hardest part of blogging!  For today’s card,  the first thing that came to mind was it had a bit of a country vibe with the woodgrain and whitewashed floral background.  Using the patterned paper as a jumping point, I created a white(ish) pumpkin using the Fancy Pumpkin die from Jaded Blossom.  The sentiment is from Sunny Studios: Autumn Greetings stamp set.

Even though I enjoy making cards for many different seasons and occasions, I don’t send all of them. I really want to try to send most, if not all, the cards I make.  I guess I want to make this a hobby with more of a purpose.  So this year, I’m sending out Autumn cards, as well as Halloween and Thanksgiving.  I figure why let them sit in my craft room when they can perhaps brighten someone’s day.  If you would like to be on my “mailing list”, feel free to email me at with your address and I could surprise you with a card.

I’m sharing this card on the Tic Tac Toe #179 challenge HERE….

I chose the diagonal: Stitching, Wood, Die Cutting

Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you’re heading into a wonderful week.  We’re squeezing the last bit of summer at the beach this week.

Take care,

  1. I always use the stamp set as the blog name. Helps bring traffic when someone googles it!

  2. This is a beautiful card. That paper is stunning!
Have fun at the beach! We are getting our first rain of the season – a blessing from heaven to help put out the nearby forest fires.

  3. LOVE that pumpkin die and I just got that same patterned paper recently too! What a nice fall card!!! So glad you shared it with us at Tic Tac Toe this week!

  4. WOW! What a beautiful fall card! I love the colors that you chose. Very rustic and non-traditional but still very much an autumn card. Thanks for joining us at TTTC!

  5. Simply beautiful! Love the pumpkin die and the colors! Thank you for playing the TTTC with us!
