Continuing my efforts to use up some retiring Designer Series Paper, I’m sharing a pair of cards created with the Hues of Happiness DSP. While this collection has some big, bold and beautiful floral prints, I decided to use a little more subtle but equally pretty pattern.
Cut & Measure
- Basic White thick card base: cut at 10 1/2″ x 4 1/4″, score at 5 1/4″
- Basic Black card stock: cut at 1 1/8″ x 4 1/4″ cut 4
- DSP: cut at 1 x 4 1/4 cut 4
Assemble
- Glue each DSP strip to the Black card stock creating 4 panels.
- Glue the first panel 1/8″ from the top of the card.
- Glue another panel 1/8″ from the bottom of the card.
- Glue the remaining two panels 1/8″ from the top and bottom panels.
- Stamp the sentiment in the middle space.
I used retired color coordinated DSP to line the inside of the envelope. While I’m looking forward to new Designer Series Paper, I still have plenty of retired patterns left. However, Hues of Happiness is one of the collections that I’ve pretty much used up.
So many favorite products are leaving after this month or while supplies last….If you’ve followed me for some time, you know that I still enjoy using favorite products after they’ve retired. So if you see something that you want now’s the time to purchase, especially if you can get $$$ off. I’ve added a few items to my list that I know I’ll regret not having.
