If it’s Thursday, it’s time for a new Tic Tac Toe Challenge. Team X came up with very creative projects this week. Be sure to check them out and join in on the fun. Here’s this week’s board…
I chose the diagonal: Masculine, Free, Square
Details…
Measure & Cut
- Basic White Thick card base: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, score at 4 1/2″
- Lost Lagoon card stock: 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
- Hello, Irresistible DSP: 5 1/4″ x 4″
- Pretty Peacock card stock: 5 1/4″ x 4″ (inside)
- Basic White card stock: 5″ x 3 3/4″
Assemble
- Glue the Lost Lagoon panel and DSP panel to the card base.
- Using two different sized square punches or square dies, cut two of the smaller square from Pretty Peacock card stock and one from the DSP pattern and one larger square from Lost Lagoon card stock. I used the retired Stitched Shapes dies.
- Layer the squares in an argyle style using dimensionals.
- Stamp the words from the Biggest Wishes stamp set and cut. I used a Scan n’ Cut to cut these and the mat behind them. But they could easily be hand cut, too.
- Glue the sentiment to the front of the squares.
- The inside sentiment is from the Irresistible Blooms stamp set and is stamped in Pretty Peacock ink.
Creating a masculine card is always a bit of a challenge for me. I think this would work but would also be a nice generic birthday.
Thanks for visiting my blog today and I hope you’ll head over to the Tic Tac Toe Challenge and play along.
Take care,
Rosanne

Rosanne, I love this handsome masculine card, especially the diecut sentiment. Enjoy your day!
Thank you, Hilda!
Yes, I love this die cut sentiment, too! And I think this paper is a stand out among all the dsp’s right now! Nicely done!
Thanks, Karen! This DSP is definitely one of the best at this time!
Rosanne, This is a beautiful Masculine card. Thanks for giving us a look at the new DSP.
I procrastinated for years about buying a scan and cut machine. Seeing how you used it on the greeting is so very pretty, this really makes the Happy Birthday Pop.
Thank you, Lora!
