Today I’m sharing a mini slimline that could be considered a fun fold, as well. I’m going to apologize right here and now because I do not have any measurements. I’ve never made this type of cascading card before and totally “winged” it. This is not to say, it didn’t take me a few try’s! I’m sure there are some tutorials available for a similar card if you’re interested in making one.
The card stock is Basic White and Lemon Lime Twist and the DSP is Glorious Gingham. The flowers are created with a die from the Dainty Delight dies. I layered two together and then used and blending brush and ink to color them. The flower centers are embellishments from my stash. The sentiment label is a die from the Scalloped Contours dies and the sentiments is from the Pansy Patch stamp set.
Here’s a look inside. The sentiment is from the Layering Leaves stamp set. I left the middle panel blank so I could include a personal note.
I created a custom slimline envelope to fit the card and used another die from the Scalloped Contours to add the scalloped edge. You can find my slimline envelope tutorial HERE.
I’m a little late with posting for the current Tic Tac Toe Challenge but there’s still time to enter HERE.
I chose the left diagonal: Flowers, Birthday Sentiment, Gems
Thanks for stopping by today!
Take care,
Rosanne
