Welcome to the October installment of CASEing Coast to Coast. This month we’re beginning our cross country stamping adventure in California with Karen Hallam and our theme is an appropriately seasonal one: Halloween. You can see all the details of Karen’s adorable and fun card HERE.
Now for my card, I pulled out some “vintage” Stampin’ Up! DSP, Toil and Trouble.
I especially love those colorful witch’s hats. And since I also find fussy cutting very relaxing, it was easy to cut a few as the focal point of the card. All other products are noted below.
And here’s a look inside..
Growing up, Halloween was always an especially fun holiday as it was also my Mom’s birthday. So along with all the candy, there was cake and ice cream…talk about a good time! Although my Mom has been in heaven for a long time, this year would have been her 100th birthday. And even though I’ve not had children to dress for Halloween for quite a long time, and heck, now I don’t even live in a community that gets Trick or Treater’s, I still love this fun holiday. I do enjoy seeing my grandson’s costumes and watching their school parades. And then there’s a cute little dachshund named Olive that will need a costume! So I guess I do get to dress some one for Halloween!
I’ll have a few more fun Halloween projects before the end of the month. I hope you’ll come back! In the meantime, please head over to Karen’s blog for some more Halloween crafting fun.
Take care and have a wonderful week!

Faboolous card, Rosanne! This will be our first year without trick-or-treaters, and I think I will miss that! Thanks for the fun post ~ see you back here next month!
Loved your post and it so nearly mimics my story. But I do still decorate for seasons and holidays including Halloween and I have the fun of making 20 Halloween cards to go out to friends and family each year. And this year got to make them for foster kids.
Signed, still a kid at heart!
Sherri, we’re never too old to have fun! I love seeing your cards that you create for foster kids.
