I’m starting off the week before Halloween with a cute and fun to make Halloween card. I’m not really sure if this card is going to be sent this year as I’ve already created enough Halloween cards to send but just couldn’t resist playing with this new to me fun Lawn Fawn set: Fangtastic Friends stamps and dies.
How cute are these little friendly bats!? Lawn Fawn creates the most adorable critters!
I started off with a Elegant Eggplant card base and then cut the frame from MFT’s: Rectangle Frames. After cutting out the frame, I dry embossed it with Su’s Pinewood Planks embossing folder. The night sky background paper is from my stash. The big, bright full moon is punched from a circle punch in Bumblebee card stock with some sponging. The spooky tree is also from my stash. All the images and sentiment come from the Fangtastic Friends stamp set and are colored with alcohol markers.
Here’s a peek inside…
The inside sentiment is from 9/20 Paper Pumpkin.
I would send this to my grandsons, but I already created a really fun card for them that I’ll share later in the week.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’re looking forward to a beautiful autumn week. October is just flying by and we are enjoying many perfect autumn days. The leaves are at their peak here in SE Pennsylvania and the trees in my community are just beautiful!
I’m playing along with the Festive Friday #FF0170 challenge HERE….
Take care,
Rosanne
Roseanne, such a fun card. I can see why you couldn’t help but make a card with this super cute set. Your little bats are just too adorable. I love the background and the fact that you placed everything on the wooden plank base adds even more depth and texture. So glad you shared this with us at Festive Friday this week
