Attention Shoppers Birthday Card – PP705

After a long, hot summer without much stamping/card making time, I’m trying to get my mojo back.  Our weather has cooled down and I’ve spent some time reorganizing and getting acquainted with some new products that I’ve purchased in the last few months.  One of those sets is Stampin’ Up!’s Attention Shoppers bundle.  This is seriously one FUN set…and I’ve only made my first card with it!

How fun are those little gift bags!  I used patterned paper from my stash and used the paper piecing technique to create them.

And here’s a look at the inside.  The sentiment is from a long ago purchased set from CTMH.

Since creating this card, I can’t stop creating these little bags using a variety of different patterns…they are that much fun!

I’ve missed playing along with challenges, so I’m entering this card into Paper Players Challenge.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Take care,

Rosanne

Season of Gold & Green Thinking of You – #TTTC 255

Today I’m sharing a pretty Thinking of You card using Stampin’ Up!’s gorgeous Season of Green and Gold Designer Series Paper.  This is found on the Online Exclusives and it’s being marketed as a “holiday” paper but I think it goes well beyond the holidays as you can see how I used it here.  There are many occasions that this card would work for:  Friendship, Get Well, Hello, Just Because, etc.  The sentiment is from SU’s Layering Leaves stamp set and is heat embossed in gold.  Also, change the sentiment and basically use it for just about any occasion or gender.  It’s such an easy layout so you could change the patterned paper to customize as a feminine, masculine, child, or baby card, too.  I see a few more of these in my future!!

Here’s the measurements for the rectangles:  Green card stock:  1 3/4″ x 2 1/2″, Gold Foil:  1 5/8″ x 2 3/8″, 1 1/2″ x 2 1/4″.

It is Team O’s turn at the Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  I chose to go with the left diagonal:  Leaves, Rectangle, Sparkle/Shine.  I hope you’ll find inspiration from the board and share a project with us…we would love to see it!

And here’s a look inside.  For the sentiment, I combined two sentiments from a long ago retired SU set:  Climbing Roses.  I love to hang onto sets that have useful sentiments.  They really come in handy!

Thanks for stopping by today…I hope you’re heading into a wonderful holiday weekend.  If I’m honest, I’m not really sad to see the summer winding down.  I’m so looking forward to pulling out all my fall products this weekend.

Take care,

Rosanne

Let’s Book It! for CC2C

Welcome to August’s cross-country stamping adventure with Karen Hallam in CA and myself in PA.  This month we’re beginning our journey here with me in PA.  Our theme this month is “Book It”.  And since the school buses will be rolling here next week, I created a Back to School card.

We’re going to have a big Back to School day in our family as our oldest grandson, Jack is starting First Grade.  So in Jack’s honor, here is the card I made for our boy…

And here’s a peek inside…

If you haven’t already been out west to see Karen’s awesome card, please click HERE to check it out.

And here’s Jack yesterday at his new school’s Sneak-a-Peek.  Although he’s a little anxious, he’s also very excited!

Thanks for stopping by…enjoy your day!

Take care,

Rosanne

Summer Fruit Gift and Tag – #TTTC253

Welcome to a new Tic Tac Toe Challenge.  This week it’s Team “O”‘s turn at the board and my teammate, Silke, came up with a fun one full of summery goodness.  Take a look…

And here’s my cute little project….I chose to with the first row across: Gift Tag, Patterned Paper, Summer

To make the sweet little bag, I used a brand new-to-me die from Echo Park: 3-D Bag.  This was so easy to assemble as it is just one large die to cut the entire bag.  Then you just fold along the perforated lines and glue.  It does require a 12 x 12 sheet of card stock.  The flap is secured with a small velcro to keep it closed.  I also just purchased the pretty fruity patterned paper from Echo Park to create the tag..  It’s a great 6 x 6 pad that has really nice summery patterns called, Fruit Stand.  The tag was cut using SU’s Tailor Made Tags Die and cut once in card stock and again in the patterned paper which was trimmed at the top.  The red embellishments are pearls that were colored with a red Sharpie and the tiny watermelon on the sentiment is a polyclay doodad also from my stash.  I used to subscribe to a button company and have collected quite an array of these “doodads” and this one was a perfect little accent.

This bag has already been gifted to a friend with some fruit filled candies…just because!

While all the components were still out, I created another tag for my stash…

Please head over to the Tic Tac Toe Challenge for some wonderful inspiration from the rest of the Team.  We would love to see you play along with us!

Thanks for stopping by today…enjoy the rest of your day!

Take care,

Rosanne
