A Flourishing Note – GDP #045

The Global Design Project’s challenge this week is a bold and bright color challenge…. My card for this challenge is a clean and simple notecard. The card base is Smoky Slate with a mat of Basic Black and Whisper White.  The sentiment and flower are from the  Flourishing Phrases stamp set. The flower is stamped twice in Melon Mambo.  I cut the second flower to create a layered bloom and popped each layer with dimensionals.…

I’m a little late with this posting today because I spent a lovely day shopping at plant nurseries with a friend.  I enjoy gardening and I’m tweaking things all summer long.  Even though I thought I had more than enough flowers and vegetables, a few more came home with me today.  There’s always room for more! Flourish of Flowers

My card today is my entry for the Pals Paper Arts #304 sketch challenge… The set I used on this card, Flourishing Phrases, is quickly becoming a favorite.  I used it on this card here also. Comfort & Healing

I’m back today with a card using one of the new stamp sets, Flourishing Phrases.  One of my goals for the new catalog period is to acquire more sentiment sets.  I feel like I’ve exhausted the ones I have and need some fresh ones.  This set fits the bill.
