BeYOUtiful Congrats

Hope you are enjoying a wonderful summer weekend.  Mine has been the perfect combination of sun and rain.  I went to a fabulous outdoor concert on Friday night and the weather was perfect.  Yesterday started out nice and sunny but turned very stormy in the afternoon, which just sent me to the craft room.  So no complaints there either!  Today is supposed to be more of the same.  As a gardener, I never complain about…

A Flourishing Note – GDP #045

The Global Design Project’s challenge this week is a bold and bright color challenge…. My card for this challenge is a clean and simple notecard. The card base is Smoky Slate with a mat of Basic Black and Whisper White.  The sentiment and flower are from the  Flourishing Phrases stamp set. The flower is stamped twice in Melon Mambo.  I cut the second flower to create a layered bloom and popped each layer with dimensionals.…

Friendship Planter

Happy Friday!  Hope you are looking forward to a fun Father’s Day weekend.  Ours will be quiet.  We started a new tradition this year and celebrate Mother’s Day and Father’s Day together, which we did two weekends ago.  Our girls have spouses and significant others so this allows them to celebrate with both sets of parents and we get to have the whole family together…which doesn’t happen too often anymore.
